Most Precious
Blood School is a Catholic community dedicated to promoting
education in Christian values, academic standards, and character
development.
In 1947, the first Kindergarten Program was started with an enrollment of 70 students. In the early 1990's our Preschool Program was formed. We also began offering before and after school Latch Key Programs to provide a safe environment for students of working parents. In 1998 we celebrated our 100 year anniversary.
Now... Our school has many supportive programs and services in place. We offer Title I, Speech, and Physical Therapy services through Fort Wayne Community Schools. We also have a School Counselor on staff. Intertwined in all of the programs is the presence of Christ and the inspiration for every member of the school community to behave Christ-like both in and out of the classroom. This is supported through the school's Discipline With Purpose program. Discipline With Purpose focuses on teaching children the self-discipline skills needed to be successful in life. We currently have an elected advisory School Board that meets monthly, and two extremely active school organizations - the Home and School Association and the Athletic Association. The Athletic Association operates under the guidance of the Catholic Youth Organization of the Diocese. Most Precious Blood School has been ranked by the Indiana Department of Education with the highest ranking, Exemplary Status, two years in a row - 2006 and 2007.
