Mrs. Schmell's educational philosophy is that children should trust that the classroom environment will challenge and encourage their growth in intellect, maturity, and character.

Mrs. Schmell graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor's in Parks & Recreation Administration.  After working as an Instructional Assistant, she went back to school for her teaching license.
