The curriculum at Most Precious Blood Kindergarten meets the Indiana State Standards and Common Core Standards for Kindergarten while providing children with creative, hands-on learning opportunities. The goals of our Kindergarten program include assessing and meeting the needs of each child as an individual.
Activities included in our curriculum are faith development through religion classes in the Atrium, weekly Mass, and daily prayer and reflection. Learning centers, books and journals, math, science and social studies provide a foundation in the core curricular areas. Art, physical education, music, library and computer classes enrich the Kindergarten program.
Our Kindergarten teachers are licensed by the State of Indiana, and annually attends workshops and conferences to learn about the newest practices in education to enhance the Kindergarten curriculum.
After after school care is available. Hot lunches are served daily. Class sizes remain small.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a montessory-style Catholic religious education, offered at Precious Blood weekly. It has it's own learning space called the "Atrium." Students learn about the parts of the Mass, Bible stories, and the Sacraments through this unique and tactile educational opportunity.
