I am Shannon Chambers, and I am excited to teach social studies at Most Precious Blood. I was born and raised in Texas and have an incredible and blessed life that has brought me to Fort Wayne & to teach at Most Precious Blood.
I attended the University of Arkansas, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with minors in Philosophy & History. I then continued my studies in History at the University of Texas at Dallas and received my secondary teaching certification. I also hold a Paralegal Certification from Boston University.
This school year will be my first at Most Precious Blood. I have seven years of middle school social studies teaching experience. I took a career break to raise my children but stayed actively involved by volunteering in the Junior League and PTA. Most recently, I worked as a program manager for an online education company.
I have a true passion for social studies and civics. I love engaging students in learning, and I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures growth and curiosity in a positive and fun environment.
I have been married to Matthew for 25 years, and together we have three exceptional children. Chloe is a professional race car driver and Guinness World Record Holder. Chloe is a Porsche Junior Development Driver and attends Arizona State University. Oliver will be entering high school and is a skilled soccer player who works hard every day to achieve his goal of playing professionally. Emma, a middle-schooler, adores being the youngest and loves playing the flute and dancing.
I lived in the suburbs of New York City for 16 years before moving to Fort Wayne in 2022. You can find me at the soccer pitch or racetrack when I am not in the classroom. I also enjoy traveling, cooking, gardening, continually learning & going for walks and runs.
