Dear Parents/Guardians:
I want to begin by saying that I am so excited to begin my fifth year at Most Precious Blood and my tenth year of teaching. It is amazing to be a part of the MPB family! I look forward to serving as your child’s religion teacher this year. It is truly a joy to be able to partner with you as we help lead your child to Heaven. For those new to the school and those just entering middle school, I wanted to share a little bit about myself.
I grew up in Ohio and am an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fun. I graduated from Manchester University in 2010 with a major in elementary education and special education. Upon graduation I became a special education teacher at a middle school in Fort Wayne for five and a half years. While finishing up my Master of Arts in Theology from the University of Notre Dame I was the Director of Religious Education at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church for 2 years. I then accepted my dream job as a religion teacher at Most Precious Blood!
I am an avid runner and enjoy summer weekends at our family’s lake cottage. My husband, Nick, and I have 2 daughters, Amelia (3) and Charlotte (2). We have a spunky rescue Labradoodle named Lucy who always keeps us on our toes and provides endless entertainment.
A few of my favorite things include tacos, chips and salsa, coffee, Target, and Jesus! I look forward to sharing my love of our faith with your child. We will reflect on, practice, and learn how to live out the faith in our daily lives. In order for your child to grow, I ask for your partnership this year as I eagerly look forward to working with you. Please know that you can contact me at any time. Also, please do not hesitate to ask any questions!
