Hello!
My name is Mrs. Darcy Quinn, resource and special education teacher at MPB. My husband Tony and I have been married for 22 years and have four children ages 21, 18, 16, and 14. We are all parishioners here. I am a lector and I love to sing at Mass in our choir.
I attended MPB as a student from grades K-8 and graduated in 1988. All four of my children attended school here as well. I have been a teacher in catholic education for my entire career. I have spent 13 years in kindergarten, 3 years teaching a 1/2 split class, and 6 years in second grade. I also spent 2 years as a Title I teacher. I am branching out and trying something completely different from classroom teaching. I am passionate about setting students up for success in school and advocating for what is best for them.
I graduated from Marian Universtiy in Indianapolis with my degree in elementary education and a minor in special education. I later received my kindergarten endorsement from IPFW. I am licensed to teach K-12 mild disabilities.
When I am not teaching you may find me singing, reading, entertaining guests, cooking, camping, or running my kids around. I am a member of our parish council and I am proud to call MPB home.
