SGO stands for "Scholarship Granting Organization" which provides scholarship awards to low and middle-income families to help them afford the school of their choice. The SGO for our diocesan Catholic schools is called SGO NEI. Click here to learn the details on how to receive an SGO.
The student must be a member of a household with an income below 200 percent of the amount to qualify for the Federal Free or Reduced Price Lunch Program.

The SGO dollar amounts will be based on need. All first-time SGO recipients will receive a minimum of $500.
The Most Precious Blood Fund provides financial assistance towards tuition of families with students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. Assistance is given to qualifying families based on need and family size.
School Choice Voucher:
Vouchers are awarded by the State of Indiana to students who:
Have been in public school for two semesters or who have received an SGO award for the past year
Are members of a household with an income below 200 percent of the amount to qualify for the Federal Free or Reduced Price Lunch Program.
A scholarship for families with more than one child enrolled at Most Precious Blood School in Kindergarten - Eighth Grades.
The Large Family Fund provides financial assistance towards tuition of families with three or more students, enrolled in Catholic Schools, in Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade. Assistance is given to qualifying families based on need, family size, and diocesan guidelines.
The Joseph and Justine Kramer First Grade Tuition Assistance Fund provides financial assistance towards tuition of First Grade students enrolled at Most Precious Blood School. Assistance is given to qualifying families based on need and family size.
These scholarship and award recipients are announced each May prior to the school year for which they are awarded:
The Melissa Koors Memorial Awards are given to an incoming 3-year old and 4-year old Preschool student each year. Awards are given based on a Jesus-like attitude, demonstration of hard work, and accomplishment.
The Jane Purvis Most Improved Student Award is given each year to an outgoing Second Grade student who shows dedication and perseverance in the classroom.
The Millie McAfee Rosary Society Fourth Grade Scholarship is awarded to an outgoing Third Grade student showing service to the school and parish, Christan attitude, and having parents who model the Catholic Faith to their children through values and service.
The Millie McAfee Rosary Society Fifth Grade Scholarship is awarded to an outgoing Fourth Grade student showing service to the school and parish, Christan attitude, and having parents who model the Catholic Faith to their children through values and service.
The Jordan Allen Memorial Scholarship Award is given each year to an outgoing Seventh Grade student who shows leadership and Christian attitude.
